A Quarter Century Apiece: Swayze and Etta

Swayze Fisher and Etta Strickland celebrating their co-birthday at Webster's.
Two of Greenwood's most attractive but unavailable bachelorettes shared a 25th birthday yesterday with festivities at Webster's Food & Drink.
As homage to their official entrance into their quarter-life, the two celebrated with several chocolatey-butterscotchish beverages followed by a few rounds of the blue stuff.
On a side note, this was my first experience with the "New and Improved" Webster's that featured a brand spankin' new smokalator. The machine is designed in vent-a-hood form to suck up the cigarette smoke and filter out fresh, lung compliant air.
Although our party didn't really give the device a true workout, I am sure this Memorial Day weekend will be a decisive test.
The night continued with after-party festivities at the home of Ryan Robertson, Esq. Guitarist Peyton Yeoman and Karaoke All-Star JJ Branch entertained the masses with their arousing renditions of The Joker and Gin and Juice. Ryan played a few originals to keep things real.
Overall the night was a great way to celebrate the quarter life of two of Greenwood's finest citizens. Not bad for a Tuesday night, either. Not bad at all.
