R2R Street Dance Rain Location: Legion Hut

Local residents hope to be dancing in the streets tomorrow night at the River to the Rails Street Dance in historic Downtown Greenwood, Miss.
GREENWOOD--If the weather is inclement tomorrow night, the River to the Rails Street Dance could be moved to the Legion Hut on Claiborne Avenue, say festival organizers.
By 2 p.m. on Friday, the decision will be made whether to keep the dance on Howard Street as planned or to move it to the Legion Hut.
Currently there is a 40% of rain for Friday morning, decreasing to 20% by late that afternoon, according to The Weather Channel.
Greenwood-based Curb Service (of Green Lizard Party fame) will kick things off at 7 p.m.; The Krackerjacks, affectionately known as "The Party Band of the South," will play at 9 p.m.
A Budweiser-sponsored beer garden, located on the first block of Howard Street, will do much to help quench the thirst of partying patrons. The dance will last until 11 p.m.
Former BalloonFest chairman and Curb Service frontman, Joe Seawright, is looking forward to playing at Friday night's event. He is also hoping that it will be held on Howard Street. "Keep your fingers crossed for an outside affair," begs Seawright.
Andy Hackleman, entertainment chairperson for the festival, agrees. "I hope we can keep the dance outside, but I have heard that some legendary parties used to go down at the Legion Hut," remarks Hackleman. "Either way, it should be a fun night."
The Delta Dirt will be the first to post the location information as soon as it becomes available.
