Friday Ramblings: The Fourth Part 3; Blog Props

To all the people who have constantly badgered me over the past few days about Part 3 of the Fourth of July roadtrip, you must have patience...it is on the way! You have to understand that the brilliance that flows onto this computer screen must be divinely inspired and can't simply be written at the drop of a hat.

Yes, these things take time (and a substantial amount of liquid encouragement) in order to be so cleverly and (in)accurately written. That said, I am also still awaiting advisement from one certain dancer as to the appropriateness of a few pictures that were taken while at The Golden Moon. If rubber-stamped on through, I promise the pics will be worth the wait!

In the meantime, I think it is important to mention a couple of regular readers who have given props to The Delta Dirt. As you know, The Greenwood Commonwealth does a weekly feature on a local citizen called "Just Ask Your Neighbor" (which, of course, we ripped-off for our "Fellow Flatlander" feature).

Recently, TheDeltaDirt.com was spotted as the favorite website of two Greenwoodians: Toni Sorrell and Peyton Yeoman (actually Peyton's will come out next week, so check it out). Thanks, guys, for enjoying this blog so much that you were willing to openly and shamelessly admit to it in unerasable printed newstype. That means a lot to R.D. and me.

As for others in the Greenwood area, if you are asked by a Commonwealth reporter to be a "Just Ask Your Neighbor," I would thank you kindly to give a shout-out to your favorite website - The Delta Dirt Dot Com - home of "All the Dirt That's Fit to Blog in Greenwood, Mississippi."

By doing so, you would warrant yet another mention on this blog for your help in advertising this free and forever-entertaining publication. Happy Friday!
