Lazy Afternoon with Robert Johnson

I took this picture halfway between Greenwood and Money, at Robert Johnson's final resting place, Little Zion Church on Money Road. It seems that Robert's biggest fans are a bunch of drunkards.
Today was the perfect lazy afternoon. I slept until noon, had lunch at the Mockingbird Bakery and fed my guilty pleasure with a slice of cheesecake for dessert. Afterward, I dropped by Turnrow Book Co. for a pot of french pressed coffee and picked up Ray Lamontagne's Trouble.
I then headed for Money with my windows down, Trouble turned up and a Coca Cola in hand. En route, I stopped by to say hello to my old friend Robert Johnson, "King of the Delta Blues" (see picture). In the heart of downtown Money, I turned around at Bryant's Grocery, home of the fatal wolf-whistle that led to Emmit Till's eventual demise and what some consider to be the start of the Civil Rights Movement.
