Friday night: Play-By-Ear Pianist Lucas Leigh at The Alluvian Happy Hour; "Little Boogaloo" Eden Brent at The Blue Parrot; Will and Andy at Webster's Food and Drink.

Saturday night: Crawfish Cookout on the Stewart McGnemi Patio featuring The David Dunavent Allstars at Webster's Food and Drink; Songwriter's Showcase featuring Randy Weeks at The Blue Parrot.

Pick(s) of the Weekend: Webster's (Where Else?)

Will and Andy (at right in above picture) at Webster's Friday night should be a hit with the locals. Will Freeman of Gunboat fame will be accompanying Andy Hackleman of the two-man show, Andy and Stephen. Will, the lead guitar of the two, promises to show his fine-tuned skills. Andy, the vocalist in the duo, will be singing and playing everyone's favorites. Together, the two promise to put on quite a show.

Also, since Saturday will be Webster's first official crawfish cookout of the spring, it runs a close second to Will and Andy as "Pick of the Weekend." At $13.95 for a 3 pound platter of crawfish, you won't find a better deal in the Delta. Entertainment will be provided by David Dunavent. Doors open at 3:00 p.m. and the patio will be perfect for eating crawfish with your friends on a sunny afternoon.

Editor's note: Since I will be in Chapel Hill, North Carolina all weekend, I am posting the WGITW a little early. I will be back Sunday, so posting should resume soon after.
