Adios to Thomas




Self-Appointed Greenwood Social Director and Delta Dirt founder Thomas Gregory departs tomorrow for UNC-Chapel Hill, where he will attempt to gain a Master of Regional Planning. His fam hosted a whole mess of people Friday night at Goose Pond Hunting Club to celebrate his good riddance.

Drive safe, Thomas, and no -- just to feed your ego one more time -- Greenwood won't quite be the same without you. See you at Thanksgiving. And don't forget my T-shirt!

Thanks, guys. I made it up here just fine! I am typing this from my new home base -- my office in Chapel Hill. Also, I really enjoyed the party...thanks to everyone who came! Now, the countdown to Thanksgiving begins...

Barack Obama is the only candidate that has been successful at reaching across party lines in the presidential election. I as well have not had much to say on The Dirt. Editorial: As Predicted, McCain Falls in the Polls

This two-minute campaign ad clearly states Barack Obama's plan to reenergize our economy. Thank God someone is addressing this issue. In an opinion editorial previously published this week, I predicted that the roller coaster ride the economy has been on this week would cause Republican presidential candidate John McCain to fall in the polls. "My prediction: By the end of the week, McCain's stance on the economy will cause his Palin bump in the polls to all but disappear."
