Mississippi's first and only brewery, Lazy Magnolia, located in Brett Favre's hometown of Kiln in South Mississippi, is coming to Kent Hull's hometown of Greenwood in the Mississippi Delta this Thursday. The Town of Kiln is the location of what was once considered the bootleg capital of Mississippi. Everyone's favorite hometown liquor store, Riverfront Liquors, reopened today under new ownership. John Stewart, partner in Webster's Food and Drink, finalized the paperwork for the transfer this morning. "I am excited about the possibilities we have with Riverfront Liquors" he stated. Over the past few months, the stock of wines and liquors had depleted under the previous owner. With new ownership and a new sense of pride comes the opportunity to return Riverfront to its glory days of old. Stewart noted that his first order of business will be to "dress the place up a little" so that the store feels more inviting.
