Riverfront Liquors Under New Ownership

Riverfront Liquors on Claiborne Avenue is now under the ownership of Greenwood's own man-about-town, John Stewart.
Everyone's favorite hometown liquor store, Riverfront Liquors, reopened today under new ownership.
John Stewart, partner in Webster's Food and Drink, finalized the paperwork for the transfer this morning. "I am excited about the possibilities we have with Riverfront Liquors" he stated.
Over the past few months, the stock of wines and liquors had depleted under the previous owner. With new ownership and a new sense of pride comes the opportunity to return Riverfront to its glory days of old.
Stewart noted that his first order of business will be to "dress the place up a little" so that the store feels more inviting. A fresh coat of paint and a window display may be just the ticket for giving the place some much-needed curb appeal.
The main improvement, however, will the the noticeable increase in the amount of product in stock. A large order has already been placed with the suppliers and bottles of your favorite brand should be packing the shelves as early as next week.
When asked about his trademark blue vodka, Stewart noted that there should be plenty in fresh supply next week. "It's on order and should arrive sometime in the next few days. We won't let the citizens of Greenwood down as far as blue vodka is concerned."
Stewart also revealed that their target market is going to be the average consumer. "We want to cater to the mainstream boozer" he said. "We'll have what you want on the shelves and we'll offer it to you at an affordable price."
